eShun is not happy about a contract Fuse ODG wanted her and some female musicians to sign and has described his contract as a ‘bad’ contract.
Fuse ODG had disclosed in an interview last week with Hitz FM that, he wanted to put Selassie, eShun and Feli Nuna onto his project as part of his plans of supporting artists in Ghana to cross borders with their music but they have not signed a contract he drafted for them.
Fuse ODG was at the time answering a question thrown to him by Andy Dosty about eShun’s earlier comments about some contract he had wanted them to sign. It would be recalled that eShun first made this statement about being treated unfairly in an interview with Zylofon FM but was stopped from giving details by her manager as he felt contents of a contract are not supposed to be discussed in public.
Fuse ODG speaking to Hitz FM was surprised the subject about his contract had reached the public domain but did not give details in what was stated in the contract but just said that the contract had not been signed and so he couldn’t release the songs without their permission.
eShun spoke about this contract again in her recent interview with Hitz Fm yesterday July 16th, 2018 saying that the contract was ‘bad’—We don’t know why she keeps saying it was a bad contract as she’s not allowed to even tell us what she was being
“It was a bad contract and I’m not the only one. Feli Nuna hasn’t signed hers. And from the last time I spoke with Selassie, she also had issues with the contract so we told him [Fuse] it isn’t right so we asked that some changes are done”, eShun said.
Interestingly, eShun’s manager, Steven labelled the contract as a “funny” one, revealing Fuse ODG would be awarded all the credits to the song should the girls go ahead to ink the de
“Obviously she is being taken for granted. If the song has the potential of bringing revenue and saying all the risk is on you so you take the credit, it doesn’t make sense. If you tell me the risks are on you. I think that in Ghana we need to respect upcoming artists”, Steven told Andy Dosty.
He further urged Fuse ODG to amend the contract since it doesn’t have to benefit an individual.
“The potential of the song is about 120 million pounds. It’s gonna be played at a place where systems work. It’s about 37 pounds per play. I have the belief that Fuse has his mind in the right place. It should benefit all of us and not one person”, he said.
