“One Corner” hitmaker, Patapaa Amisty has rubbished assertions circulating on social media that he has demanded money as a precondition for supporting the campaign against the abuse of tramadol.

Social media fans of the singer have expressed their disappointment when Ghanaian presenter, Nana Aba Anamoah disclosed that the Swedru-based hitmaker and his manager requested for cash before they could endorse a campaign against the abuse the popular pain-killing drug.

“Patapaa and his manager say until they’re paid “Patapaa will not add his voice to the campaign against the abuse of tramadol”, Nana Aba tweeted.

But according to Patapaa, he was approached by a lady who requested that he endorses a concept his manager had no idea of hence his refusal.

Patapaa continued that since the lady didn’t make any effort to contact his manager, he made it clear to her that there will no such endorsement since that might infringe his managerial contract.

Interestingly, Patapaa’s manager, Gershon Mortey has confirmed the artist’s position, saying Nana Aba Anamoah hasn’t made any contact to ask his camp to engage in “Abuse of Tramadol” campaign hence finds it difficult to understand why she would put up such a post to defame his artiste.

“Nana Aba has not called me or sent anyone to inform me of an abuse of tramadol campaign. She could have used the right channel to reach me so we talk about that”, Mr. Mortey explained to Adomonline.com in an interview.
