The only gospel signed artiste on Zylofon Music, Joyce Blessing has disclosed to Prince Kwesi Dadzie aka Mr. Handsome that, his former manager, Kwesi Ernest who is the CEO of Media Excel was nearly employed by Zylofon Music.
The ‘I Swerve You’ hitmaker said she recommended Kwesi Ernest to CEO of Zylofon Music due to his competence and dedication but he [Ernest] lost the opportunity after he collected money paid Joyce Blessing due to her inability to perform at the 2018 ‘Bliss on Hills’ event earlier this year.
Ernest made news some few months ago when it emerged that due to Blessing’s inability to perform at the ‘Bliss on the Hills’ concert – where she was en route to before getting into an accident – he had gone to collect the money he paid for her to perform from her management.
Appearing on GH Entertainment last Saturday, Joyce Blessing revealed to the host she personally recommended Mr. Ernest to Nana Appiah Mensah despite resistance and plans were far advanced for him to be called to join the Zylofon team.
‘But he lost that opportunity after he collected his money back from me although I had had an accident and was unable to perform at an event he organized. I personally recommended him. My boss, NAM 1 asked why I recommended someone who was always attacking me but I brushed it off and told my boss he [Ernest] was exceptionally good,’ she said.
