The former winner of TV3’s Talented Kidz programme, Awal Mohammed has literally begged his idol, Sarkodie to sign him to Sarkcess Music, the record label owned by the iconic rapper.
Awal, who emerged the third winner of the talent show, was adopted by Sarkodie with many Hiplife and Hip- Hop fans hoping he would sign the young rapper to his label Sarkcess Music.
To this end, it was circulated that Sarkodie promised to nurture his talent and bring him to the limelight.
However, as to when the hope that Sarkodie will sign Awal to his label remains a mystery.
However, his hope is yet to materialize. In a recent interview, the young rapper said he’s still looking forward to seeing the day Sarkodie will sign him.
According to him, it will be a good feeling should Sarkodie bring him to the label so he becomes the star he always yearns for.
Awal who spoke to Kofi Asante on Bolgatanga-based A1 Radio said;
“why not, going back to SarkCess Music will be like going back to your daddy and working with your daddy. I will be very happy should anything like that happen”.
