Michelle Diamond, aka, Shatta Michy, the ex-girlfriend of Shatta Wale, appears to have told her mum that her breakup with the dancehall artiste is permanent.
Michy made the remark in an Instagram story she recently shared with her friends, saying the experience has taught her that it is not always wise to give up something valuable for free. She said she told her mother not to give out something valuable, it would not be appreciated.
“My mum just asked my opinion on her giving out something valuable, I didn’t even let her land & I responded “people r not people, let it rot than give it out, the person won’t even appreciate it”isn’t experiencing the best teacher,” she wrote.
Michy appeared to have been telling her mother to learn from her failed relationship with Shatta Wale, who she portrayed as an ungrateful person who did not appreciate everything she did for him.
The breakup has stunned supporters of Michy and Shatta Wale. But many of them had held the hope that the two will make up soon. Michy’s Instagram post, however, suggests that it is not going to happen.
Michy, who is known to have supported Shatta Wale financially when he was a struggling musician, has accused the artiste of physically abusing her in the course of their relationship.
Shatta Wale appears to have worsened matters between the two when he bragged on Facebook a few days after the breakup that he had slept with another lady. The dancehall musician has since refused to comment further on the breakup, saying it is “complicated”.
In several social media posts, she has suggested that the breakup has made her a stronger woman. Shatta Wale has fired back, saying Michy’s allegations of physical assault were false.
