Not long ago Ghanaian’s saw the champion man , Ghana’s dancehall king, Shatta Wale performed at the Greater Accra Regional Rally of the National Democratic Party (NDC) at the Ohene Djan Stadium. Again he Shatta Wale was spotted performing at the campaign launch of the NDC’s parliamentary nominee for the Tamale Central constituency, Inusah Fuseini. This activities performed by Shatta wale did confused Ghanaian’s as to which political party the act belongs to , yet it was clear evidence that he belongs to the NDC, since he was seen several times in their campaigns.
The opposition New Patriotic Party flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo, also stated it clear before he won the 2016 election that, Shatta Wale remains his best act , irrespective of the Chanel he’s heading to, yet he understand that its strictly showbiz, he stated below.
I am a fan of Shatta Wale – Akufo-Addo The flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo-Addo, did also reveal that he is a big fan of Shatta Wale. “Yes, I’m a big fan!”, Nana Addo replied a tweet by Shatta Wale that he [Shatta] didn’t know that the NPP flagbearer was a fan.
Shatta stated on his Facebook fan page today to clear tension as to the invitation given to him to perform at NPP Victory street Carnival . He stated .
I never stood for NDC or NPP or PPP i just delivered my services like how any business minded person will do ..so no hard feelings to anyone who doesnt understand this showbiz lifestyle..we working hard to be successful..thats all..ano deh do politics mr… catch me live with shatta wale senior(Amakye Dede) on the mountains..Abetifi
