Ghanaian hiplife artiste Patapaa Amisty born Justice Amoah has officially announced his new stage name to his fans and vowed to take anyone who calls him ‘Patapaa’ to court.
The Agona Swedru based artist took to his Facebook page in a live video where he was seen thanking God for how far he has brought him and was also appreciative of his fans for supporting him till now.
The ‘one corner’ hitmaker thanked God for blessing him through Funny Face and Adebayor and that he officially changes his stage name from Patapaa to ‘Patapizy ‘. He proceeded by saying that ladies always call him by ‘ Patapizy’ whenever they see him and he prefers that name instead.
It can be recalled that Funny face shared a video on his social media handle where he was seen mocking Patapaa for losing out the award for most popular song of the year to Fancy Gadam in the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ( VGMA).
The Pa2pa Soldiers boss in the video jabbed Fancy Gadam by quizzing ” where are those who won the award now, they have faded into thin air”.
He also made the claim that he is the best Ghanaian artiste at the moment as many wished for his downfall but he is still making waves in the industry.
He further thanked Adebayor for financing his video shoot in Europe. Patapaa is currently in Austria as he embarks on a Europe tour with Dr. Ray and Fante rapper, Kofi Kinaata.
